Who staffs the fitness facility?

Deb Craig is the fitness coordinator ([email protected]). Tiffany Horgan and Mark Ryder are the fitness trainers.


Who is eligible to join?

Lincoln Laboratory employees, their spouses and dependents between the ages of 18 and 24, subcontractors, retirees of Lincoln Laboratory, and MIT Campus Zesiger Fitness Center members. All main-campus MIT employees must purchase a Zesiger Fitness Center membership if they wish to use the Lincoln Laboratory Fitness Center.


How do I join?

Fill out a membership application (also available at the Fitness Center) and pay by credit card on our Membership Page. All people joining the Fitness Center must come to the Center to sign our release form prior to using the facilities.


Can someone help? I have never exercised before.

Yes. Our staff of certified fitness trainers is available to help you with cardio equipment and weight equipment. Appointments are required one week in advance.


What about outside fitness?

Outside enthusiasts can take advantage of the Center's lined half-court basketball area. Basketballs are available for sign-out at the front desk. Structured league play in a 3-on-3 format is also offered during the summer months for all levels of ability.

A beach volleyball court (with sand and net) is available for recreational use behind Annex 3. Volleyballs are available for sign-out at the front desk.

Walkers will enjoy the facility's walking path adjacent to the volleyball court and pavilion area. The walking path loops through the woods and is an ideal midday stress reducer.

The volleyball court and basketball court and league, as well as the walking path, are open to all Lincoln Laboratory employees. Membership is not required for participation.

The fitness facility has towel service, showers,  lockers, and vending machines. A multipurpose room is available for supplementary fitness activities.
