2025 Biotechnology and Resilient Human Systems WorkshopBiotechnology on the Operational Edge
You are invited to join the fourth annual Biotechnology and Resilient Human Systems Workshop held June 3-4th 2025. This year’s focus will be Biotechnology on the Operational Edge. This two-day, in-person event will feature sessions highlighting the lessons-learned from successful development of biotechnology-enabled solutions to address a range of national security challenges, including biodefense, secure supply chains, and warfighter health. The workshop will feature keynote presentations from leaders across the U.S. Government highlighting critical national security challenges that can benefit from advanced biotechnology, and will also exhibit state-of-the-art research and innovations from the rapidly expanding biotechnology ecosystem.
Key themes will include:
- Identifying biotechnologies that will have the greatest operational impact
- Harnessing diverse technology disciplines to accelerate biotechnology R&D
- Enabling effective data sharing and communication through innovative sampling and architectures
- Applying systems-level approaches to achieve operational biotechnology capabilities
- Partnering with industry to productize biotechnology-enabled solutions.
This in-person event will be hosted by Massachusetts Institute of Technology Lincoln Laboratory in Lexington, MA. We will be asking all attendees to register in advance. A preliminary detailed agenda and registration instructions will be distributed in late March.
